THE PURPOSE OF THIS BLOG

Hello beautiful people!!
To begin with, I'm a normal girl just like you all.
I too have my ambitions, but don't know the right way.
I still feel sick when I think of public speaking.
I am always dead scared of rejection.
I  have certain fears that I am embarrassed to share
I too feel the chills down my spine when I think of my D- day and drown in the pool of confusion.
I also have stretch marks and acne scars.
I too wonder whether my foundation ever matches my skin tone or what is the right lipstick shade for me.
The point is...I am just like you all, WE ALL ARE THE SAME!
 we all are beautiful in our own ways and there is something at the end of the day that unites us all. Every moment of the day, there are many girls who face quite a lot of things in their lives. Be it rejection or proposal, weight issues or skin issues, doubts and failures, achievements and other sea of emotions that might be difficult to pen down. Quite a lot us take it as the end of the road...well, it's not really! All we need is a different perspective in our lives, and that is where I come into the picture! No matter what I faced in my life, I never lost the positive outlook , Why not share that with you all. I am not perfect in any sense nor I strive to be one, but I am learning and so far the journey has been pretty amazing!
So join me on this beautiful journey where there will be days when you learn something exquisite or days when I learn something new. We will talk about everything and anything that concerns a girl or makes her heart and soul wonder.

Skin care secrets every girl should know

Hello beautifull!We all desire a beautiful skin, but not all us are born gifted. desperate needs leads to desperate measures- curing acne , avoiding wrinkles or hiding dark spots, and most f the ties we worsen our skin’s condition and harm it to unimaginable extent rather than treating(true story) .When I was in my teens, I had major breakout issues. I literally slept praying for a miracle to happen that would clear my skin and make me look flawless overnight. Turns out, it never happened! And I started harming my skin to unimaginable extent. I used couple of acne creams, switched my cleansers and moisturizers on a weekly basis and of course, I popped all those enormous pimples ( you do it too!).
I finally decided to leave my skin as it was. I was un-confident, I didn’t feel like dressing up or going out. All I wanted was to hide under the bed and stay there until my face looked better. I also consulted a lot of dermatologists, which did help to a certain extent, but I still did not get that flawless look.
Eventually and quite fortunately, I realized that maybe my skin is not getting something that it needs, which is probably making it go this way. Turns out – I WAS RIGHT! my skin was in desperate need of love and care. That’s right! we are always so harsh to our skin...how do we expect it to look flawless?So, thinking i had found the holy grail and not letting my eureka moment go in vain, I sincerely sat down to note the things that my skin needs and is not getting. There’s been no turning back ever since...and you too need not look anymore.Firsts things first, this is not a miracle! such things take time, and looking at the amount of damage we’ve caused to our beautiful faces- it definitely needs some time to heal. Be patient and sincerely keep these few advises in mind. They are really basic...and you might think while reading that “sure, I knew that!” but then if you follow them religiously...believe me- YOU SHALL GET RESULTS.Here are a couple of things backed by solid reasons to help you get a flawless skin.
o   DRINK WATER: yes! every celebrity or model talk about this and why wouldn’t they? Our skin is 64% water and that is enough of a reason to know why drinking water is necessary. BUT, an important thing to have in mind is to be consistent with drinking water throughout the day. Chugging 2 bottles at a time won’t work as our bodies can only take certain amount o intake per hour. If you drink the required amount of water for a day in one go- nothing will happen as that will only make you go to the washroom and the body won’t absorb anything. We don't want that now do we?Drinking water can really do miracles as it hydrates your skin. It prevents acne by reducing the concentration of oil in our skin. Also, when you are well hydrated, signs of ageing are minimized as the skin looks plumper. They would not vanish, yet their appearance will be minimized.  Thus, drinking at least 8-10 glasses of water is a must.
o   Exfoliate!: If you hadn’t been exfoliating before this. you should have a new addition to your skincare routine. We all have been asked to this, but what is exactly the main reason behind this? Exfoliation for starters, removes dead and dry cells from the face thus giving way to newer cells which makes your skin bright and even. It also unclogs pores minimizes their sizes , preventing breakout. Lastly, since the dead cells are out of the way, it helps the skin to absorb the other products better. It is advised to exfoliate twice or thrice a week, but some people do it daily as well. The key here is to try and see what suits you the best I personally exfoliate twice a day.
o   REMOVING MAKEUP BEFORE BED: Well this is crucial, before you go to bed you have to make sure that there is absolutely no makeup on your face. Also, avoid applying a lot of products at night and let the skin breathe. Excessive product will lead to excessive oil production and will clog pores- and we all know what that leads to!
o   CHANGING PRODUCTS: Like I said earlier, desperate needs leads to desperate measures. Changing products regularly would not really help, rather it will disrupt the PH balance of your skin. It is advised to at-least try the product for a month to see the results before switching unless you’re having allergy reaction and in that case – Switch ASAP!
o   VITAMIN C : Yes, this can do wonders!!  Vitamin C not only protects the skin from ageing but also crucial in collagen production and maintenance. Moreover, It is a strong antioxidant and I cannot stress how important that is. You don’t really have to go on shopping spree and get a splurge supplement. A cup of lukewarm water in the morning with squeezed lime shall be enough, and if you do not want to stop at that, try my personal favorite detox water – just add lemon to your water bottle that you will be drinking through the day. Wait for a week with this one. YOU WILL NOTICE THE CHANGE..
another tip: you can make green tea and put in a bottle and refrigerate it overnight, drink that as a detox as well!
o   SPF: applying sun block really makes the difference, I always thought to myself it is just to avoid your skin from getting dark. Not really! Applying a sunscreen on daily basis, protects your skin from UV rays, it is the one of the most important factors for ageing and pigmentation. Even if it is cloudy outside, apply a sunscreen. Remember this just like you remember to wear your clothes before steeping out...Wear that SPF!
o   AVOID HARSH CHEMICALS: There re a lot of chemicals that are used in skin products but are not really helpful for your skin in the long run. Methyl Glycol, for example, is found in hair products and can cause great irritation to the eyes and the skin. There are also certain amount of mineral oil that is present in some products. It only takes five minutes but can make a lot of difference, try reading the ingredients of your products to actually know what is going on your face, try to know more about the ingredients that you’re not aware of. Use alcohol free toner as well.

Apart from these, avoid touching your face throughout the day, wash your face twice at-least, know what product is right for you (I can do the next post on that if you wish!) and be patient!! lastly – leave the pimple alone!

The Ambitions..

its good to have ambitions in life but it is also important to have the right ambition in life.

right ambition means doable goal as per your circumstances and situations.

for example if every one keeps a goal of being an prime minister of India then most of you will definitely fail, because prime minister will be only one.

evaluate yourself and then mark your goal, because if you'll fail then you'll disappoint and will lose the confidence in life.

to boost your self first mark some doable goals, and then increase the target of your goals.

this way one day you'll reach your goal easily.

but if you'll mark the difficult goal at the first go, it'll definitely be difficult to reach and this will impact very badly on your self confidence.

break your goals in small-small achievements/ segments and mark the timeline to achieve them, this way you'll easily reach your ultimate goal without breaking your self confidence.
